Toyota Tacoma 3rd Brake Light - Gen 3
PNW Tacoma Gen 3 Overview
Billet aluminum brake light fits 2016+ Gen 3 Tacoma Crew Cab (4 door) and allows for the installation of 2 Baja Designs S2 lights. This kit comes with new mounting hardware, gaskets, prewired LED brake and cargo lights. This kit does requires splicing into the factory wiring. Additional gaskets and wire harness available.
- CNC Machined from billet 6061 aluminum.
- Designed and manufactured by small business in the USA.
- Uses existing bolt holes. No drilling required.
- Three 1w Red LED brake lights.
- One 3w White cargo light.
- Flat black powder coat finish.
- Baja Designs lights NOT included
Installation:
Remove the OEM light and unplug the connector from the brake light.
Cut the connector from the factory harness. Leave some wire so you can reuse the connector if you want to go back to stock.
Strip the 3 wires of the factory harness and add the supplied spade terminals.
Connect the wires:
Red – Purple
Black – White
White (or yellow) - Green
Install new clip nuts in factory holes and install light with included screws.(You may have to enlage the holes if the threaded part of the insert does not line up with the existing hole)
· Its recommended to add a bead of RTV silicone around the top and sides to provide additional water protection.
